FAQ

I have a heavy barrel on my shotgun. Will this work with it?

No. You will need the MX Tactical Snub Front Sight - HB.

I have a ribbed barrel. Does the system work with that?

No. Sorry, at this time, none of the Mossberg-related front sights work with ribbed barrels.

I have an after-market magazine tube extension. Will the system work with that?

Yes! The band clamp was specifically designed to fit between he barrel and the magazine tube extension.

My magazine tube is big – over 1” in diameter. Can I still use the system?

Yes! The band clamp is thin enough to fit between the barrel and the magazine tube extension.

Do I have to remove my factory bead sight?

No. A slot has been machined into the bottom of the sight that will clear most factory beads. Some sight beads are larger in diameter or have a hex nut base and may need to be removed.

How do I use the included shims?

For smaller diameter barrels, the included shims can be placed inside the band clamp to adjust for a tight fit.
