This fiber optic front sight lines up seamlessly with the MX Tactical Rear Sight. This is designed for Mossberg 590A1 shotguns with or without an extended magazine tube. Steel side guards protect the fiber optics from serious punishment.

Designed to be placed on heavy barrels such as the 590A1 and Shockwave 590 (barrel diameter: 0.950")
NOTE: If you have a standard 590, order the ST or Snub front sight
Factory bead may need to be removed on some guns (see installation instructions)
Sight base is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with matte black hardcoat anodized finish
Comes with shims to fit a range of barrel diameters
Clamping band is carbon steel, with black oxide finish

FAQ

I have a heavy barrel on my shotgun. Will this work with it?

Yes! This clamp was specifically designed for heavy barrels such as the 590A1.

I have a ribbed barrel. Does the system work with that?

No. Sorry, at this time, none of the Mossberg-related front sights work with ribbed barrels.

I have an after-market magazine tube extension. Will the system work with that?

Yes! If the front bracket is close to the end of the barrel, you may need to mount the sight behind the bracket. The clamp can be opened to allow this. See installation instructions.

My magazine tube is big – over 1” in diameter. Can I still use the system?

Yes! The diameter of the extension doesn't matter with this band clamp design.

Can I mount an accessory rail on this sight?

No. An accessory rail cannot be used on this sight. We will be coming out with a tactical version, similar to our EX Tactical Front Sight - ST, for those with plain barrels and a standard magazine. Sign up to be notified when this becomes available.
